1/9: New issue -- Palmetto Priorities, more

Greetings on another sunny, balmy day in Charleston.

In our new issue, columnist Andy Brack unveils PALMETTO PRIORITIES, a suggestion to state lawmakers to develop and implement a set of shared state strategies to push the state forward. Editor Bill Davis outlines budget and issue challenges for the legislative session that starts Tuesday. State Rep. Leon Stavrinakis outlines why the state is in dire need of leadership. And cartoonist Steve Stegelin pens a funny but sad cartoon on the state's education budget.
